Open House for the Asheville Sister CIty of Osogbo, Nigeria with the screening of the film “Sacred Journeys Osun-Osogbo”.

Details about the film:  The film details the Festival of Osun-Osogbo, which takes place annually in Osogbo, Nigeria.  It celebrates the goddess of fertility, Osun, and renews the contract between humans and the divine.  This ceremony is part of the Yoruba religion, which has upwards of 100 million practitioners, and is one of the world’s 10 largest religions.
